Krause Berry Farms

If you live in Langley, you’re sure to have visited or at least heard of Krause Berry Farms. Heck, their waffles are probably the most Instagrammed in the Fraser Valley, which is one of the reasons why Krause is on the top of our list of Hunni Hangouts.

Whether you’re Google Mapping your way to the farm or know it off by heart, you can’t miss the stunning blue barn as you drive nearer, a site that will make any Instagramer’s heart flutter a little… bright blue walls are harder to come across than the popular shade of pink. This place is picturesque, to say the least, not only because of the shade of their buildings but their beautifully manicured you-pick gardens, a wall of massive sunflowers & of course the rows upon rows of blueberry bushes.

Speaking of their berries, they are nothing short of delicious. Right now is the season for blueberries and strawberries, staples in the fruit world if I do say so myself. I love to pick my own blueberries, that way I can ensure that they are all perfectly firm… yum.

If you’re not ready to brave the heat to pick your own berries or you’re just in the mood to chill out on a patio, Krause has two outdoor eating areas to enjoy something homemade and delicious. The Porch offers up a wide selection of wholesome goodness from ice cream & smoothies to slices of corn pizza. While the KB Corral is home to those famous berry waffles (did I mention they’re topped with whipped cream, syrup & of course a heaping pile of season berries). It’s safe to say your mouth will be watering when you arrive at Krause and your stomach will be full when you leave.
