Between Valentines and Family day there are lots of opportunities in February to get out and have fun. Now whether you are in a relationship or not we think you should get out and take advantage of everything the month of love has to offer. To help inspire you, or maybe even give you some romantic date ideas, we’ve listed our top five favourite things to do this month with family, friends or a special someone.

1. Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival

Whats better than hot chocolate on a cold day? There are twenty-seven participating coffee shops all over Vancouver that that have put together unique hot chocolate flavours just for this festival! It runs until February 14th and you can check out more details here: Van Hot Chocolate Fest

2. Visit the peak at Grouse Mountain

In December we took the gondola up Grouse Mountain to check things out up there and we instantly fell in LOVE. There are so many fun activities, from ice skating, visiting wildlife or enjoying a nice meal at their beautiful restaurant and on February 12th (BC Family day) Grouse Mountain is offering 50% off passes to get up the mountain! Its the perfect excuse to take the whole family up for a day of bonding and adventure.


3. A Valentines Day Themed Girls Night In

4.  Go for Fondue at Cacao 70 Eatery

Go check out Cacao 70 eatery and dip a variety of delicious fruits and treats in even more delicious chocolate…do we need to say more?

5. See a Romantic Movie

The (in)famous 50 Shades of Grey trilogy wraps up with its final film just in time for Valentines day making it a February must see. However, if thats not your thing we always recommend watching your fave rom-com at home, tell us your favourites in the comments below!
