Another month has come and gone and here I am writing another what to do this month post. Make fun of me all you want for the cliche intro but I challenge you to come up with something creative and witty every month (seriously leave me a comment if you have any ideas.) Never the less, its March, and luckily for me there are a ton of things to do this month. Between spring break, St. Patricks day and Easter, we’ve got you covered, keep reading to find out what we will be doing this month!
1. The Wedding Show at the Plaza
Last month we had Valentines Day, so we know that means some of you have love on the brain and are possibly newly engaged, so what’s more perfect than a wedding show? Come visit us and check out our booth at the Plaza Hotel in Coquitlam on March 4th, you might even see some of your favourite Hunnis strutting their stuff in the fashion show. For those of you who aren’t engaged (cue the never the bride always the bridesmaid pun) don’t worry, there will be lots there for you to see too. I mean if you hadn’t noticed we don’t exactly sell wedding dresses, so while the bride is looking at wedding dresses you can check out our wedding appropriate attire. Check them out on Facebook and get tickets here.
2. Check Out Claytons Newest Coffee Shop
It wouldn’t be a what to do this month post if we didn’t include a local coffee shop right? If you haven’t checked out Black Tiger Coffee in Clayton then you are seriously missing out. They’ve got the whole package, great coffee, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere plus the nicest staff! While your there make sure to take a cute pic (wearing your fave hunnis items of course) and use #hunnistyle and you might just get featured on our page!
3. St. Patricks Day Festivities
Who doesn’t love a good excuse to dress up (in all green) and enjoy a night out with friend. Now that isn’t to say that you have to go out for St. Patty’s day, Vancouver hosts a 5k run on March 17th for you sporty types. But of course, in classic Irish fashion, there is no shortage of night life activities to attend, there is even a St. Patty’s day eve party in Vancouver for those of you who want to make an entire weekend of it.
4. Plan Your Perfect Vancity Staycation
Not everyone is lucky enough to be jetting off somewhere hot this spring break, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun! You could visit your favourite coffee shops, take a trip to the beach (even if its cold) or stroll around downtown. Stay tuned later this month for some Staycation inspo, but in the mean time let us know what you are doing this spring break in the comments below!
5. Easter Egg Decorating
Now we know this might sound a little lame or childish, but whether you have a kid or not Easter Egg decorating is still a well beloved tradition (at least it is for me.) Plus, who said you had to stick with the classic way of decorating? Why not get creative with it? Check out our Pinterest for ideas and inspiration.
