It’s no secret that we love a cute cafe, and lucky enough for us there’s certainly no shortage of new places for us to try here in Vancouver. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to catch up with friends, a quiet place to work and study (or to pretend to work and study, as we all occasionally find ourselves doing), or just want a quality cup of coffee, these cafes are some you definitely won’t want to miss.
Ever feel like you’re always venturing over the bridge to get to the cute coffee shops? There are definitely a few local ones that will always have our hearts, but the new & instagrammable tend to be downtown – not to mention there are just more options on the other side of the Fraser. So when an adorable, well lit, well caffeinated cafe opened up in Clayton you bet we were stoked!
Last week, the only way to enjoy some snow was to head up to the hills (unbeknownst to us, the snow was coming to the valley) so we packed up our things and headed to Grouse Mountain for a snowy, winter shoot! There’s not much us BC girls love more than some pretty white lights amongst the backdrop of snow…
From time to time I stumble upon such a gem of a cafe that it’s hard not to share it. Of course, there is always that period of thought that I should keep this little secret to myself and a select group of friends as to not create Instagram pandemonium and crowd our favourite spot, but a cafe like West Village Cafe is meant to be shared.
If you live in Langley, you’re sure to have visited or at least heard of Krause Berry Farms. Heck, their waffles are probably the most Instagrammed in the Fraser Valley, which is one of the reasons why Krause is on the top of our list of Hunni Hangouts.
The little fishing village of Steveston, BC holds a spot near & dear to our heart as it is home to our second Hunni’s store.
If you’re into shopping local, then Refresh Market is the place for you! Refresh features over 100 vendors from Pemberton to Metro Vancouver and is held in beautiful Squamish, BC.
Here at Hunni’s we’re always on the lookout for new spots to hangout and this time we didn’t have to look very far. Just around the corner from our Langley location you’ll find The Water Shed Arts Cafe – if we’re not at the shop or the office, this is where you’ll find us.
